Exporting and Importing a VG
# 볼륨 그룹을 장치에서 떼낼 때 사용한다. OS에서 해당 디바이스를 사용하지 못하게 볼륨그룹을 export한다. 디스크 교체나 상대방에게 디스크를 떼내줄 때 export 까지 수행하면된다. 잘 됐는지 확인하려면 pvscan 명령어를 사용 할 수 있다.

# 다시 OS에서 볼륨 그룹을 인식하고 싶으면 다음과 같이할 수 있다. 하고 난뒤 뗴낸 사람이랑 붙인사람이랑 /etc/fstab 도 정리해야한다.

Linear RAID
RAID-0 : stripe
RAID-1 : mirror (복구가능함, 가용률 50%)
RAID-1+0 : mirror, stripe (복구와 쓰기 속도 늘림, 가용률 50%)
RAD-3,4 : stripe, parity (복구를 위한 xor연산, 디스크가 늘수록 디스크 가용률 이 좋음)
RAID-5 : stripe, distributed parity 복구를 위한 xor연산)
RAID-6 : stripe, dual parity
